We prefer fresh, new articles written exclusively for Canyon Living Magazine. Although we do accept multiple submissions and reprints, we ask that you include that information with your article. The managing editor reviews every article submitted. Articles chosen for publication are then edited by the assistant editorial team and/or department editors. We welcome photos and/or illustrations submitted with articles, however, we reserve the right to publish your content with or without photos submitted. Please send photos separately: do not embed photos into the text of your submission. (See photo instructions below.)
Compensation: The opportunity to gain recognition and promote yourself as a writer, business professional or authority on a specific topic you have experience with builds credibility. We are happy to link back to your business/blog website via hyperlinks and tags within the article submission and/or your personal Bio, as compensation for your article submission. Your article and/or business will be marketed through many eMedia channels. Your business advertisement or logo will run at no charge during the month of original publication. Following the initial month of publication, contributors are offered select rates for continued ad placement – or contributors may chose to submit additional material to maintain low-cost advertising spots.
The market value of eMedia advertising compensated in exchange for article content can range from $50 to $2000. Select articles or submissions may be offered free premium placement and/or a premium primary page advertising opportunity on a rotating basis as availability allows. Another perk for business owners who choose to submit articles to Canyon Living Magazine is the opportunity to attend networking functions, marketing seminars and educational workshops at no-cost, or with preferred registration fees.
All submissions must be the original work of the author or artist. We will not publish material which attacks, demeans or seeks to negate others. Canyon Living Magazine reserves the right to edit for grammar, spelling, punctuation, length and readability. Please note: your submission WILL be edited for content, grammar, and style. Canyon Living Magazine will make every effort to provide a final proof prior to publication. Your submission to Canyon Living Magazine implies consent to publish your work via the internet, email newsletter, or in print with proper recognition provided to the author.
